We have discovered a true gem nestled in the Western Lakes – A large number of us were looking at a family celebration away and trying to cater for wanting to all be together, dealing with differing ages, a variety of complex competing “needs”, the dog as well as the requirement to be in a luxurious environment was proving to be a challenge so far – that was until we discovered Dunningwell Hall nestled away in the Western Lakes in the most glorious of positions. The location, the grounds, the sumptuous reception rooms, the kitchen and dining provisions, the luxurious bedrooms, the amazing facilities and amenities ticked every single one of our diverse and complex requirements – six to sixty, fitness fiend to foodie, beach comber to bookworm, sleeper to sightseer nothing at Dunningwell is out of reach - perfection would be an understatement. We will without doubt be returning guests in so many different capacities or combinations as nothing was too much or too diverse a wish.

All the bedrooms have king beds, are ensuite, and come complete with televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and fridges. There is a large lounge with a television which is also contains a wide range of books, two dining rooms, a snooker room and an outside jacuzzi. The kitchen is fitted with the highest standard of appliances and is adjacent to the dining rooms. For those wanting to be spoilt Dunningwell is close to Brockwood Hall which is a pleasant walk or short drive away. Brockwood has an excellent restaurant which can easily be booked by telephone. This visit was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had.
